Super Visa

What About Exploring The Super Visa?

Tired of waiting to have your parents or grandparents come to Canada? Their names never seem to get drawn or are never among the first on the list? Don’t get discouraged! The parent and grandparent super visa is undoubtedly what you need, in the meantime! Your Notary would like to advise exploring the super visa option to bring them to the country and enjoy their company. We are here to assist you in the process from the beginning to their arrival.

What Is a Super Visa?

The super visa allows parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada to come to the country as visitors for up to two years at a time on their first visit. Additionally, applicants won’t need to renew their status as this visa is valid for 10 years and allows them to come and go during that period.
What documents are required? What is the minimal necessary income? Which documents are admissible financial proof? Should you take out a medical insurance policy for the whole duration of their stay in Canada? What are your responsibilities to them? Can they still apply for permanent residence to stay in Canada indefinitely? Your Notary will answer all your questions and provide guidance for your particular situation!

We care deeply for our elders. Isn’t it beautiful to feel family warmth and see grandparents united with their children and grandchildren, having BBQ under the summer sun or at the first snowfall announcing the coming of Xmas?

So, what about that parent and grandparent super visa? Ask your Notary about it!
